Our Memorial Day weekend started on Friday down in San Clemente. We met up with some friends and played on the beach, watched dad surf and stayed late enough to roasted hot dogs and marshmallows for dinner. The weather was perfect and it was great hanging out at the beach!
The kids played in the showers for probably close to an hour! They thought it was awesome!

Saturday we had a lazy morning and then went to our Stake Fun Fair. Zoie had fun riding the ponies and playing on the swing. She freaked out when we tried to get her to go down one of the big bouncy slides! It was pretty cute and funny all at the same time.
This little girl just walked up to Zack and gave him a hug. It was so cute! I love that they both have little balloons. I also love that it is Kip's (from Napoleon Dynamite) daughter. Back in the day I might have been slightly obsessed with that movie:)
Monday brought us to the beach again! This time we went up north to El Matador beach near Malibu. It is one of my new favorite beaches. The beach is surrounded by cliffs and there are little tunnels everywhere. The kids were entertained for hours! It was amazing.
This weekend was such a great way to start off the summer season!
