Back in March Zoie's class took a fieldtrip to the Santa Barbara Zoo. Unfortunatley we were in AZ so she had to miss it. She was so bummed so I told her that I would take her during Spring Break. When Spring Break came around she did not let me forget her promise! We packed up a lunch and drove about an hour north to the Santa Barbara Zoo. I am so glad we went! It was a great zoo. The animals were all out and they were pretty close together so the kids didn't have to walk a bunch between seeing each animal. The kids (and myself) loved the zoo and we can't wait to go back!
In the middle of the Zoo they had an "any hill." It was pretty much a huge hill covered in astro turf. They had pieces of cardboard that the kids could take to the top and slide down on. We stayed there for an hour and could have stayed longer! Zoie and Zack loved it!
My favorite picture of the day... We laughed about this for a while:) Love her face as she was rolling down the hill!
